The Fort Worth Victory Medical Center (105,000 SF) was designed as a 30-bed special surgical “boutique” hospital. The facility was planned with the direct input and involvement of the stakeholders, user groups arid facility personnel. All inpatient rooms were specially designed to afford maximum comfort and views. Ten of the rooms have outdoor balconies. Services included surgery and diagnostic imaging.
The construction of this new Medical Center utilized Evidence Based Design methods, which were incorporated into the design of this facility. Such elements included: special finishes, lighting, and circulation methods to optimize patient and materials movement.
