Renowned for his welcoming approach, Kris is an accomplished engineer and leader whose career spans over 31 years in civil and geotechnical engineering. He has guided Kenall’s transformation from a geotechnical and testing firm into a respected architecture and engineering firm with offices in Houston, TX, and New Orleans, LA.
By actively participating in professional organizations such as the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Society of American Military Engineers, the Association of State Dam Safety Officials, and the Texas Council of Engineering Laboratories, Kris diligently promotes engineering excellence, while advancing infrastructure resilience and sustainable practices. These efforts are reflected in his body of work which includes significant projects like historical building renovations at Fort Sam Houston, ecosystem renewal through the San Joaquin River Restoration Program, and large-scale drainage improvements at Fort Hood.
Kris's dedication to mentoring young engineers, fostering sustainable practices, and driving impactful development earned him the 'Mentor Protégé Achievement Award' from the City of Houston. With over 34 years of distinguished experience in program and project management, Prakash serves as senior vice president and program manager, leading efforts to meet the specialized needs of Kenall's US Federal government clients.
He has a proven track record of addressing the distinctive requirements of the Department of Defense and Federal agencies including the US Air Force and the US Army Corps of Engineers. His deep knowledge of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) compliance, Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) cost accounting practices, and management of multi-year, high-value contracts highlight his expertise.
Prakash has successfully led a range of significant Federal projects, including facility renovations at Fort Hood, Randolph AFB, and Texarkana, as well as large-scale remediation initiatives across the Midwest. His professional capabilities extend to construction management, environmental compliance, contract management, and health and safety standards. Vishwa has established himself as a prominent leader in the engineering sector, addressing significant water and wastewater infrastructure challenges across Houston. His expertise was pivotal in managing the $900 million Greater Houston Wastewater Program and overseeing major infrastructure development for the City of Houston, City of Fort Worth, and Harris County. Drawing on his extensive knowledge of hydrology, hydraulics, and civil engineering, Vishwa has successfully completed numerous projects that have made a lasting impact.
