Kenall delivered geotechnical field investigation, topographic survey, and engineering analyses for a new Digital Airport Surveillance Radar station. The proposed structures included a 107,816-pound 87-ft. radar tower, a 110,000-lb. DASR electronic Equipment Shelter (EE), and a 50,000-lb. DASR Engine Generator Shelter. Both the EE and Engine Generator Shelter are transportable.
We performed topographic field survey, geophysical investigation employing ground penetrating radar, and soil boring, sampling, and laboratory analysis. We also performed analyses including geological evaluation, foundation recommendations, seismic site classification, analysis of static and seismic stability, settlement analysis, pavement recommendations, and general construction recommendations.
