Kenall is under a contract with USACE Fort Worth district to provide A-E services associated with the preparation of a Design-Build Request for Proposal (DB RFP) for drainage repairs at the Robert Gray Army Airfield at Fort Hood. The RFP addressed repairs needed to correct erosion and sedimentation issues along taxiways, roadway inundation and undersized channels and drainage infrastructure (25-yr storm event), existing grades, and utility vaults and manholes not in compliance with UFC 3-260-01. Project components include repairing erosion at affected project sites, repairing or replacing existing flumes along taxiways, adjusting utility vaults and manholes as needed to meet grade requirements, correcting various drainage failures, ensuring grades are in compliance with UFC 3-260-01, and stabilizing all disturbed areas.

Kenall is responsible for the overall project management of this task order, including but not limited to, coordinating and leading the design charrette and review meetings; leading pre-design activities and site visits; reviewing stormwater drainage report, LiDAR and existing survey information; developing the design, plans (to include demolition, civil, drainage, details, and SWPPP), and statement of work narrative (Section 01 10 00); performing QA/QC of all deliverables; supporting value engineering study; monthly reporting and invoicing; monitoring cost and schedule; responding to bidder inquiries and RFIs.
