Kenall played a crucial role in the geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing for the development of multiple facilities at Galveston College. The team’s drilling and testing efforts ensured the successful completion of several significant projects, including a 15,000 SF addition, associated paving, and a new two-story, 10,000 SF concrete building addition.

Kenall’s services involved performing soil borings at selected locations to evaluate subsurface stratigraphy and groundwater conditions. Laboratory tests were conducted in accordance with ASTM standards and local practices to assess the physical and engineering properties of subsurface soils. Additionally, geotechnical design parameters for foundation support systems were developed, and guidelines for earthwork, such as site preparation, grading, and fill compaction, were provided during construction.
