Kenall performed critical engineering services associated with the rehabilitation of the Houston Independent School District Food Service Facility’s Ammonia Refrigeration, phasing our work to maintain continuous facility operation. The project included replacement of nine refrigeration compressors and one evaporative condenser, serving three freezers below 0E and four refrigerated coolers below 40E.

We provided architectural and engineering services for site investigation, Life Safety and Code Compliance Upgrades, and design, code review, inspection, testing and replacement of the nine refrigeration compressors and one cooling tower. We also oversaw demolition and conversion of existing garage space into mechanical space.
