Kenall delivered a comprehensive evaluation of the Lake Houston Dam, assessing the current condition of the dam and associated structures, and identifying potential safety issues related to the dam. Lake Houston is a reservoir on the San Jacinto River upstream of Houston, forming the primary water supply for the City.

Kenall’s geotechnical investigation included field exploration (detailed site inspection, installation of borings and piezometers, data logging, collection of soil samples, pump testing of piezometers) as well as laboratory and field geotechnical testing, and a fault presence investigation. Results were summarized in a site geological evaluation and geotechnical report.
