Kenall developed a prototype InfoWorks hydraulic model for the Sims Bayou service area (31,200 acres, 4.4 million linear feet of pipe, 36 pump stations, one wet weather facility and two wastewater treatment plants). In addition to modeling of the service area, a project objective was to analyze the predictive capabilities of the InfoWorks modeling suite vs. the more commonly used SWMM model.

Our services included import of GIS database to build model representation, data collection and drawdown testing, flow calculations, calibration, and model verification. Based on the model results for the Sims Bayou service area, InfoWorks model software was used in follow-on projects in the Houston area.
