Kenall performed construction materials testing services for the construction of Lafitte Greenway bicycle/pedestrian path, a 2.6-mile public bicycle/pedestrian path and green corridor connecting New Orleans neighborhoods from Armstrong Park to City Park, bounded by North Alexander Street on the west; extending along St. Louis Street to North Carrollton Street; located within the St. Louis Street right-of-way from North Carrollton Street to North Jefferson Davis; and extending from North Jefferson Davis to Basin Street on the east between Lafitte Avenue and St. Louis Street.

We provided sampling and laboratory testing of subgrade and fill soils, in-place field density tests for sidewalks and pavement, field inspection of concrete, laboratory testing of concrete specimens for compressive strength, and field/plant inspection of asphalt. This project was part of the Hurricane Katrina Disaster Recovery related and funded by federal disaster declaration. This project was administered in compliance with federal regulations and GLO/FEMA guidelines.
