Kenall provided geotechnical services associated with renovation of the Louis Armstrong International Airport. The airport underwent extensive renovation for the 2013 Superbowl event, including renovation of the terminals, addition of new terminals, addition of new parking garages and runway extensions.

Our services included performing Material Testing and Inspection services in accordance with Advisory Circular (AC 150/5370-12A) Quality Control of Construction for Airport Grant Projects. Specifically, we performed: field inspection of concrete; inspection of welding and bolts, including visual inspection of steel and welding and ultrasonic testing and radiographic testing; field density test of soils and asphalt; and complete geotechnical soil laboratory testing.
