Kenall provided geotechnical services and testing supporting demolition of the existing arts and science building at Southern University of New Orleans, and construction of a new 3-story building. The building is part of a four-building project at the University funded by FEMA.

Kenall performed geotechnical core drilling, soil sampling, pertinent laboratory testing as per ASTM standards, and geotechnical analyses. We also developed geotechnical design parameters for typical foundation system for the new facility, and provided guidelines for earthwork (e.g. site preparation, grading and fill compaction) during construction.
